**A Quad Rental Nightmare: When Customer Service Goes Off-Road**

Renting a quad should be straightforward and fun, right? Unfortunately, my recent experience with Ben Rental Scalida was anything but. It turned out to be a day filled with frustration, poor maintenance, and some of the worst customer service I’ve encountered. Here’s how it all unfolded.

From the moment I took off on the first quad, it was clear that something was seriously wrong—it kept pulling to the right the entire ride. I spent my whole day fighting the handlebars, constantly pushing them to the left, which really took a toll on my hand. It became obvious that the quad was not well-maintained, as they hadn’t even bothered to properly inflate the tires. I ended up having to sort that out myself elsewhere, but surprise, surprise—the ride was still terrible. The suspension was off, the alignment was bad, and the whole thing just felt unsafe and exhausting to handle.

The next day, after insisting on a replacement, I finally got a different quad. This one was marginally better, but it came with a new issue: once it warmed up, it wouldn’t shift gears. Imagine trying to enjoy your ride but being stuck in one gear because the quad just won’t cooperate. Not exactly the experience I had in mind.

When I approached them about a discount for the awful first day or maybe some extra time with the replacement quad, their response was anything but helpful. They were incredibly dismissive and rude—no discount, no apology, just a total lack of concern for the inconvenience I’d been put through. It was as if my feedback didn’t matter at all. As a paying customer, you’d hope for at least a little bit of understanding or a gesture of goodwill, but that was nowhere to be found here.

What made matters worse was that on the first day, when I initially asked to switch out the quad due to the clear issues, it wasn’t possible at the time. Despite being told to go back to Ben Rental Scalida to make the change, I had no choice but to wait until the next day. So, I ended up stuck with a poorly functioning quad for a whole day. I didn’t ask for anything unreasonable—just a minor discount or even a simple apology would have sufficed, but instead, I was met with sheer indifference.

And if all of this wasn’t bad enough, after I left a review sharing my honest experience, they actually threatened to call the police on me. Yes, they tried to involve the authorities simply because I dared to post a critical review. Instead of taking accountability or offering any kind of solution, they chose to intimidate me.

In short, my experience with Ben Rental Scalida was a disaster. Between the poorly maintained vehicles, the dismissive attitude towards valid complaints, and the threat of police over a review, this is not a place I would recommend. They clearly need to rethink their approach to customer service and vehicle upkeep if they want to keep customers happy and safe.
